Description:
This workshop provides a forum for the presentation of the latest
research and results in the practice and theory of parallel
languages. We are particularly interested in papers that
address the implications for programming and languages of the
convergence of distributed and shared-memory architectures, and the
emergence of fast networks that blur the distinctions between
parallel and distributed computing. We also encourage discussion of
the integration, comparison, or evaluation of diverse programming
models (task, data, object, etc.). Other topics of interest include
compilers and run time systems, application-specific languages,
and formal semantics.
Topics of interest include:
- parallel languages
- formal semantics
- heterogeneous systems
- run time systems
- application-specific languages
- compilers
